why do i own to restart my computer every time i inevitability an HP printer to print a document? i.e. HP1310 & F380?

Go to your controll panal & click printer, next right click it and then take home sure it is set to DEFAULT PRINTER also. Try this first and see if it will help. If not do what the others enjoy said.

I would check to see if you have the most up-to-date drivers.
Try to reinstall the drivers for HP printer . First Uninstall them , restart and afterwards install them again . If the same problem exist, go through if there are newer drivers for HP printer . Try near them .

If the same happenes , check surrounded by Control Panel / System / Hardware / Device Manager / if everything seems to be ok . Reinstall your operating system and install the drivers to your HP printer again .
