Why does my printer one and only print partly a page? I enjoy a window computer and i hold abiword for my word processor

Might I suggest OpenOffice; it's the subsequent best thing to the MS Office suite (MS-Word.) Best of adjectives, it's free :) http://www.openoffice.org -- very nice stuff. I don't enjoy any experience with abiword, but you might want to see if other applications are experiencing alike issue; if so, it's more of an issue with your printer and/or printer drivers. Try printing a pattern page and see if you get alike results.
Try to check your document's print preview.



Check also your document's page format.



Or it's just your printer run out of ink.
