why does the red insubstantial stay on on my epson stylus C62 printer?

why does the red insubstantial stay on on my epson stylus C62 printer?

check if it wishes ink?

does it still print?
There's either no ink on the printer,it run out of paper,or there's a rag jam surrounded by the printer. I have a printer(HP Photo smart C3100) and every time the red frothy goes on I push any reset or cancel. If the buoyant still on disconnect the printer and reconnect it in more or less a minute.
i have the exact same printer!

anyway, if the middle button is lit up red, consequently either you run out of ink or there is a treatise jam. usually, your computer should hold a pop up warning unfolding you what is wrong. if you have a tabloid jam, press the button and the printer will attempt to release the rag itself. if your ink is low, open up the top (the clear gray cover), press the right side button and the ink cartridges will slide over and you can whip them out and change them. after, press the right side button again for the ink cartridges to slide back into place and press the middle button and printing will resume and the red oil lamp will go away!

hope that help (:
