Why have the nouns gone on my P.C after installing a printer and how can I resolve this?

try reinstalling the nouns card drivers or you could use the roll back facility if you are using window XP to a date before you installed the printer and see if the nouns works then, consequently reinstall the printer
Would help if you mention what publication of Windows you are using, and what sound card you be installing and what printer. As long as someone does not know the answers to these questions they are pretty much shooting contained by the dark.
