i own a canon ip pixma 1600 and i downloaded a driver but when i went to install it say it need to run surrounded by window x64 bit at do i do?
why cant i installl a printer driver i downloaded from the printer manufacturer website?
you downloaded the driver for xp 64 bit you requirement to go receive the right one
get the 32bit newspaper driver, the error says that you requirement windows 64bit to install that driver
gain the right driver for your OS. I would start over from scratch uninstall the printer from your control panel or device overseer. Remove whatever software you downloaded from Add/Remove programs. Then trade name sure the printer is disconnected from the PC once everything is removed. Then pop in the CD/software that come with the printer and install, once specifically done, You can add the printer from the printer menu surrounded by the control panel and tell the wizard where on earth to look for the driver I suggest leaving the disc rom in and pointing the install wizard to your disc drive. That should do it.
