When I try to include a printer I get an error message that say "Printer operation cannot continue due to dearth of resources. The print subsystem is unavailable."

try unistalling your printer and later reload the software.
Also you may want to cut down on the resources by clicking on start and go to run and type within msconfig then be in motion to start pprograms..these are the programs that load when you boot up ingestion up your resources.
Click on the ones you don't need to nouns and then restart your computer.

Did you use the USB cable? If still it doesn't work then you should give somebody a lift it to some computer shop where they repair these things.
