Why can't I use my printer, when it is installed surrounded by the computer.?

Are you sure? Did you check the device controller?

Start

Settings

Control Panel

cl System

cl Device Manager

R-cl on the item to be checked. Click Properties.

That will tell you if the item is working properly.

To update the driver:

Start, Settings, Control Panel, System, Hardward, Device Driver

click the god for the item you want

click the “update driver” button on the toolbar.
IT MAY BE SET TO PAUSE.I HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE,JUST GO INTO YOUR PRINTER FILE,AND CHECK
You might not have the correct driver installed...tremendously simply, the driver is what allows your computer to talk to the printer and use it.

If your printer come with software, generate sure that it is installed, as the drivers are often contained inside.

Go to your start button, select "control panel" and then "printers and faxes". Make sure your printer is nominated there.

Try adjectives this and of course, the infirm fail-safe, rebooting. If you're using XP, rebooting often solves closely of problems. =P
