Why are ink cartridges hermetically sealed nouns tight when you first buy them?

Why are ink cartridges (for a printer) hermetically sealed air tight when you first buy them? I cut unfurl the seal to one of my cartridges a few moments ago, but next I realized that I won't be using it right away. I in actuality won't be using it for another month or so, so am I in trouble in a minute that the air-tightness is gone?

The seal is extra insurance against drying out. They also own a tape over the head that keep them from drying out. If you've already open the foil pack, just keep hold of the tape on the go before and put back contained by the foil pack and tape it up. It should be newly fine until you need it.
So contained by case they seepage the ink will be contained.
yea it will probably dry out thats why they are sealed ,
ooze & drying out purposes....put it in a ziplock backpack
The seal keep dust out, Ink in, nouns out (from drying out). Just place a piece of scotch tape over the orifice until you turn to use it. Then you can use a cotton ball next to a drop of alchohol on it to clean the surface prior to installing it.
So they don't dry out or seepage. Put it in a closure lock bag.
