Why are inkjet cartridges so expensive?

Every place I check they are at lowest $30.00 each isint within a place on the net to buy cheaper ink cartridges

Why are inkjet cartridges so expensive?

Well, the big vendor spend a tonne of money on R&D to invent and create these equipment.

And the printers are typically priced low, usually at a loss, so money is recovered through the cartridges. I believe the business model is the same as razor and razor blades.

In any grip, there are option for non-original cartridges, like replenish kits. And if you purely search thru the net, you can find lots of compatibles too. Just dont expect them to be of the same level as the originals or warrantied to impossible to tell apart extent.
It's because inkjet printers are too cheap. (You see, they need to receive money at some stage).
Plus at depends the inkjet printer, Canon seems to be average, I have a Lexmark and they are pricey, if your going to do alot of printing I recommend getting a fill kit.

It have a small drill and syringes to add the ink into the cartiridge, they own sponges inside, and the soaked sponge is allowed to expell the ink throught the inkjets on to the paper.

Refill kit run $20-30 and can refill a black 3 times and a colour 2 times
